"Red light" covers everything from consumer LED panels to FDA-cleared clinical lasers. What you may advertise depends on the specific device's cleared indication, so start there.

Check the clearance, not the category
- Search the exact model in FDA's 510(k) database and read its Indications for Use.
- Only market the indications listed there. A consumer LED panel generally has no clinical indication to advertise.
Documented example: Erchonia
- Erchonia publishes a list of 510(k) clearances, for example K012580 (2002, adjunctive temporary relief of minor chronic neck and shoulder pain) and K180197 (2018, FX 635: adjunct for minor chronic low back pain and plantar fasciitis heel pain).
