Best Scheduling and Online Intake Software for Chiropractors (2026)

Online booking and digital intake are some of the cheapest growth wins a clinic has: new patients book at 10 p.m., and paperwork is done before they arrive. Intake forms collect health history, so the tool must sign a BAA. That rules out some popular generic schedulers.

How these scores work: we haven't tested these tools hands-on yet. Scores are provisional and use only what vendors publish (checked October 14, 2026), weighted ROI evidence 30%, ease 25%, cost 20%, support 15%, data security 10%. ROI evidence is 2/5 for every tool because none has independent, chiropractic-specific results we could verify. Data security is a minor factor, but tools that would hold patient data without a BAA score low on it. See our rubrics. Prices change, so confirm with the vendor before you buy.

IntakeQ

Best if you just need HIPAA-ready intake forms alongside your existing EHR. Forms Only is $54.90/mo (or $29.90/mo for 10 submissions), Practice Management with booking is $84.90/mo, and the BAA is included.

Score breakdown (1–5): ROI 2, HIPAA 5, ease 4, cost 4, support 3 = 67/100. Sources: intakeq.com/pricing; support.intakeq.com BAA article.

Cliniko

Full practice management with online booking at flat, published prices ($45/mo for one practitioner, $95/mo for 2–5), every feature included and a 30-day free trial. Turn on HIPAA support, then request the BAA in-app.

Score breakdown (1–5): ROI 2, HIPAA 4, ease 4, cost 5, support 3 = 69/100. Sources: cliniko.com/pricing; help.cliniko.com BAA article.

Jane App

Popular with chiropractic and multidisciplinary clinics. Practice is $79/mo and Thrive $99/mo, and Thrive adds return-visit reminders, waitlists, packages, memberships and reviews. Jane signs its BAA on request. There's no free trial, but Jane offers a demo account.

Acuity Scheduling

A solid standalone scheduler if you're not changing EHRs. You need Premium ($55/mo billed annually) to sign the BAA, and it covers Acuity only, not the rest of Squarespace.

Score breakdown (1–5): ROI 2, HIPAA 1, ease 4, cost 3, support 3 = 55/100. Sources: calendly.com/legal/customer-terms-conditions; Calendly community answer.
