How to Build a Chiropractic Website with AI (2026): Step-by-Step

Your website has one job: turn “chiropractor near me” searches into scheduled appointments. AI builders can now draft the whole site in an afternoon. Here's how to do it step by step, make it easy for Google and AI assistants to read, and run a 30-day marketing routine once it's live. Each step links to providers you can compare if you'd rather hand it off.

How we built this guide: every vendor fact and price comes from the vendor's or Google's own page, linked and checked October 20, 2026. We have not tested these builders hands-on, so none are scored here. Confirm prices before you buy.

Before you start: 20 minutes of prep

  1. Own your domain. Register it in the clinic's name (or move it there) so you keep it if you ever change website providers.
  2. Write down your exact name, address and phone as they appear on your Google Business Profile. Use them identically everywhere.
  3. Get your online scheduling link from your EHR or scheduling tool. This link is what turns visits into scheduled appointments.
  4. Gather 10 real photos (the team, the front desk, the treatment rooms, the outside of the building) and a short bio for each doctor.
  5. List your services and the 5 questions new patients ask most (cost, insurance, what the first visit involves, parking, how long a visit takes).

Step 1: Pick an AI website builder (or hand it off)

AI builders now draft a whole site from one prompt. Here are three that we checked today. All are general-purpose builders, not healthcare-specific.

BuilderHow the AI build worksPrice (vendor site)Worth knowing for a clinic
WixDescribe your business in a prompt and it generates the site; then edit by hand or with Aria, its built-in AI agent.Start free, no card. A Premium plan is needed to connect your own domain or take payments; annual Premium plans include a free domain for one year. Wix shows plan prices by location, so we don't list them.Scheduling can be added; built-in SEO tools include an AI meta tag creator, SEO Assistant, structured data markup and a Search Console connection. Per llmstxt.org, Wix generates an llms.txt file for every Wix site.
SquarespaceTemplates plus built-in AI tools that run on monthly AI credits (Basic gets 10 credits one time; Core 20, Plus 40, Advanced 120 per month).Basic $25/mo or $19/mo billed annually; Core $39 or $29; Plus $65 or $49; Advanced $139 or $99. No free plan; 14-day free trial, no card.Every plan includes an “AI Visibility” tool that tracks your brand in AI search (prompt runs vary by plan; English-language accounts only). Code injection, which you need to add a tracking pixel or chat widget site-wide, starts on Core.
DurableSays it can get a site online in 30 seconds; AI agents can then write blog posts, make site changes, research keywords and draft Google review replies.Free plan (preview site, 300 AI credits). Launch $25/mo or $22/mo billed yearly; Grow $49/mo or $41/mo billed yearly. Its feature list includes online scheduling synced to your calendar, structured data (JSON-LD), a sitemap and robots.txt, and llms.txt for AI assistants. Check which plan includes each feature you need.

About patient forms: we did not verify whether these builders sign a BAA. Keep health questions off general website forms, and send new patients to the intake forms in your EHR or intake software instead.

Step 2: Generate your first draft with one prompt

Paste this into the builder's AI site generator (or into any AI assistant, then paste the result into your builder). Fill in the brackets first.

Template: copy and paste, then replace the [highlighted] fill-ins

Build a website for [Clinic name], a chiropractic and wellness clinic in [City, State]. Audience: adults and families within 15 miles. Services: [list]. Pages: Home, New Patients (what to expect on the first visit), one page per service, About our doctors, Insurance and pricing, Location and hours, FAQ, Contact. Put a "Schedule an appointment" button in the header of every page linking to [scheduling link]. Tone: warm, plain English, no medical jargon. Do not make claims that any treatment cures or treats a specific disease. Use our name, address and phone exactly as: [NAP].

Then read every page out loud. Rewrite anything that doesn't sound like your clinic, swap stock images for your own photos, and have a doctor approve every health statement before it goes live.

Step 3: Build the pages that turn visits into scheduled appointments

  1. One page per service (for example “Sciatica care in [City]”): who it's for, what a visit involves, how long it takes, and a schedule button.
  2. A New Patients page that answers cost, insurance, what to wear and what happens at the first visit.
  3. A Location page with a map, parking notes, hours and your exact name, address and phone.
  4. An FAQ page written from the questions you listed in your prep.

Template: copy and paste, then replace the [highlighted] fill-ins

Write a 400-word service page for [Clinic name] in [City] about [service]. Sections: Who this is for; What to expect at your visit; How many visits people usually schedule (say this varies and the doctor will recommend a plan); Insurance and pricing; Schedule an appointment. Plain English, no guarantees, no disease claims. End with a one-line call to action to schedule an appointment.

Step 4: Make it easy for Google and AI assistants to understand

Google says there are no extra requirements or special optimizations to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode: the same SEO basics apply. Its list includes letting Google crawl the site, linking your pages to each other, keeping important content in text (not only in images), making structured data match what's visible on the page, and keeping your Business Profile up to date. Source: Google Search Central, AI features and your website (checked Oct 20, 2026).

  1. Add clinic structured data. Schema.org has a MedicalClinic type with a medicalSpecialty property, and Chiropractic is one of its specialty values. Google's local business documentation requires name and address and recommends using the most specific type that fits. Paste a block like the one below into your site header (most builders have a “custom code” or “structured data” setting) and change the brackets.
  2. Test it with Google's Rich Results Test (checked Oct 20, 2026) and fix any errors.
  3. Write answers in plain text. Your FAQ page and service pages are what AI assistants quote, so answer each question directly in the first sentence.
  4. Optional: an llms.txt file. llms.txt is a proposed standard: a short Markdown file at yourdomain.com/llms.txt that points AI agents to your key pages (llmstxt.org (checked Oct 20, 2026)). Google says you don't need it for its AI features, but it's quick to add, and some builders generate one for you.

Step 5: Check speed on a phone before you launch

Run your home page and one service page through PageSpeed Insights. Google's documentation rates a lab score of 90+ as good, and for real-visitor data counts these as “good”: Largest Contentful Paint up to 2.5 seconds, Cumulative Layout Shift up to 0.1, and Interaction to Next Paint up to 200 ms. A brand-new site usually won't have real-visitor data yet, so use the lab results to start. Source: About PageSpeed Insights (checked Oct 20, 2026).

  1. Compress large photos before uploading them.
  2. Remove widgets and apps you don't use.
  3. Keep the schedule button visible without scrolling on a phone.

Step 6: Connect Google Business Profile and Search Console

  1. Put your new website and scheduling link on your Google Business Profile.
  2. Verify the site in Google Search Console and submit your sitemap so Google can find every page.
  3. Start posting on your Business Profile. Google lets you post Updates, Offers and Events, schedule posts ahead, and set them to repeat weekly or monthly. Posts older than 6 months are archived unless you set a date range. Google's post guidelines also say businesses in regulated categories, which include health and medical devices, should not include content about those products in posts. Source: Google Business Profile Help, posts (checked Oct 20, 2026).

Step 7: Run a 30-day AI marketing routine

  1. Week 1: Reviews. Google suggests asking customers to review you through a Google link or QR code, and says offering incentives for reviews is prohibited. Have AI draft your review-request text (prompt below), then send it to patients after good visits. Source: Google Business Profile Help, getting more reviews (checked Oct 20, 2026).
  2. Week 2: Business Profile posts. Ask AI for four short weekly updates (a team intro, what to expect on a first visit, an office-hours reminder, a community event) and schedule them all at once.
  3. Week 3: One video, five posts. Record a 60-second answer to your most-asked new-patient question, then have AI turn the transcript into a Business Profile post, a Facebook post and a short FAQ entry for the site.
  4. Week 4: Close the loop in the office. Put a QR code to your review link and your website on a printed handout or card at the front desk.

Template: copy and paste, then replace the [highlighted] fill-ins

Write three short, friendly text messages a chiropractic clinic can send after a visit asking for a Google review. Under 160 characters each, no pressure, no discounts or rewards, end with [REVIEW LINK]. Do not mention any health condition.

Guardrails

  1. Keep patient information out of everyday AI chats. OpenAI's help center says it does not offer a BAA for ChatGPT Business; BAAs are available for its API (self-serve after an established usage history) and for sales-managed ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu accounts, with a separate flow for ChatGPT for Clinicians. Source: OpenAI Help Center (checked Oct 20, 2026). More in our BAA guide.
  2. Have a doctor approve every health statement. Don't promise outcomes.
  3. Keep the domain, Google Business Profile and site logins in the clinic's name.

FAQ

Can I build a chiropractic website with AI for free?

You can start free on some builders. Wix and Durable both offer a free start, but connecting your own domain needs a paid plan. Squarespace has no free plan and offers a 14-day free trial.

Do I need special code to show up in Google AI Overviews?

Google says no. There are no extra requirements beyond normal SEO: a crawlable, indexed page with helpful text, internal links and structured data that matches the page.

Should my clinic website have an llms.txt file?

It is optional. llms.txt is a proposed standard that helps AI agents find your key pages. Google says it is not needed for its AI features, but it is quick to add.

Can I put patient intake forms on an AI-built website?

Only through a vendor that signs a BAA. Most clinics link to the intake forms in their EHR or intake software instead of using a general website form.

Not legal or compliance advice. Check your state board's advertising rules before you publish.
